Daily Responsibilities for Medical Director – Hospitalist :

• Oversee the Pay for Hospitalist Performance Program and SNF, Home Health & Hospice Services
• Direct contact for all hospitals, SNFs, and hospice and articulate the importance of hospice and post-acute services to the community, which includes how these impact hospital care quality and Member/patient experience
• Indirectly oversees staff- administers hires, terminations, and performance reviews
• Must reside in Orange County, California
• Option for Remote (local) or Hybrid - 3 days in-office, 2 days WFH

Required Qualifications for Medical Director – Hospitalist :

• 5 years of clinical experience as an MD/DD and active Physician’s and Surgeon’s Certificate issued by the State of California Medical Board Required.
• Experience as a Hospitalist Required
• 3 years of administrative experience
• Experience in quality, care coordination, and utilization management in an inpatient, ACO, or FQHC environment with a focus on Home Health / Hospice
• Driver’s License Required and valid automobile insurance

Benefits for Medical Director – Ancillary Services - Hospitalist :

• Very low healthcare premiums ($35 – $100 depending on the plan!)

Pay Details:

• $246,000 - $344,000 annually + 5% bonus based on HEDIS measures
