Remote Full-Time Position for Certified Medical Coder
Responsibilities
As a billing office personnel, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day tasks of the revenue cycle within a medical practice. Key responsibilities include:
Verifying patient information
Assigning procedure and diagnosis codes
Entering charges
Submitting claims to insurance carriers
Generating statements
Posting payments and adjustments
Handling denials
Managing patient collections and aging accounts
Requirements
Certified Medical Coder with experience in Family Medicine and eCW strongly preferred
High School diploma or equivalent
Proficient in reading, writing, grammar, typing, and mathematical skills
Ability to pass a drug screen and background check as per agency procedures
