We are seeking a talented and experienced FP&A Analyst for a position in our dynamic organization. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned financial professional with a strong background in finance, logistics, and supply chain. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to guide the company's strategic decisions. You will play a critical role in managing the financial health of the company and ensuring the achievement of our financial goals.
Responsibilities
Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.
Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.
Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.
Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization.
Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials.
Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools.
Perform market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comps.
Maintain a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models.
Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
Perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
Guide cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.
Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization.
Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a logistics or supply chain environment.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance, and information analysis.
Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money market, and business environments.
Excellent presentation, reporting and communication skills.
