REMOTE: EBP Audit and Assurance Senior Manager

Position Overview: The Senior Audit and Assurance Senior Manager is responsible for leading audit and assurance teams in a public accounting firm. This role requires an in-depth understanding of the principles of assurance, managerial accounting, and public accounting in order to provide exceptional quality service to clients and help the firm meet its strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead audit and assurance teams to ensure that all engagements are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Oversee the preparation of audit and assurance documents, reports, and schedules.
• Develop and communicate best practices for assurance and audit procedures.
• Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure successful completion of engagements.
• Review and analyze audit and assurance workpapers to ensure accuracy and compliance with professional standards.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and other professionals.
• Attend meetings and present audit and assurance results in a professional manner.
• Identify and recommend process improvements and cost savings.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in assurance, managerial accounting, and/or public accounting.
• Strong understanding of assurance and accounting principles, processes, and procedures.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Highest ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality.
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Office applications.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
