Job Description: As a Remote Customer Service Assistant, you will be an integral part of our customer service team, assisting clients with their travel inquiries and ensuring their needs are met with efficiency and professionalism. Your role will involve handling inquiries via phone, email, and chat, as well as providing administrative support to our travel agents.
Responsibilities:
Respond promptly and courteously to customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat, providing accurate information and assistance regarding travel bookings, itineraries, and destination recommendations
Assist clients with booking modifications, cancellations, and refunds, following company policies and procedures to ensure customer satisfaction
Coordinate with travel agents and other team members to address client needs and resolve any issues or concerns in a timely and effective manner
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, including notes on inquiries, requests, and resolutions
Provide administrative support to the customer service team, including data entry, filing, and other tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
Previous experience in customer service or administrative support role, preferably in the travel or hospitality industry
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and professional demeanor
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Proficiency in using office equipment and software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining a high level of productivity and customer service
Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed to accommodate customer needs
Passion for travel and a genuine desire to assist clients in creating unforgettable experiences
