Specialty Brokerage Services is looking to bring on a Remote Commercial Lines Producer to our growing team.

What you will be doing:

As a Commercial Lines Producer, you will play a crucial role in our agency's success by actively prospecting, building relationships, and generating new business opportunities in the commercial lines insurance market. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients, providing them with tailored insurance solutions to meet their unique needs.

• Generates new book of business for our carriers
• Prepares sales proposals and develops quotes for new business prospects
• Reviews, submits, and places new and renewal business
• Provides quality customer service to producing agents in the day-to-day servicing of new business
• Maintains an operating knowledge of specific carrier coverage forms, eligibility requirements, and program details
• Handles incoming and outgoing correspondence including quotes, policies, agreements, and endorsements
• Develops agent submission flow through marketing outreach activities as needed
• Maintains PC agent License and completes continuing education
• Utilizes Applied Management System to manage accounts
• Maintains knowledge of billing systems
• Limited travel as needed
• Desired Qualifications / Experience:3 or more years of Commercial Insurance experience
• Excess & Surplus lines commercial experience
• 1 year Brokerage experience - preferred
• High school Diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid Driver’s license with a driving record that meets company standards
• Must have Microsoft Office experience
• Must have strong communication skills
• Candidate must obtain and maintain a valid Property-Casualty Insurance License within 90 days of employment.
