The Relationship Specialist position will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing a wide range of banking services and solutions. This role requires a combination of sales, customer service, and financial expertise to effectively meet the needs of our diverse clientele.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
General Responsibilities:
Keep current on all bank required training and stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and updates to banking products and services.
Adhere to all bank procedures and policies.
Assist with creating and revising department procedures and policies.
Assist with identifying and improving department efficiencies by providing suggestions to management and assisting with department projects.
Uphold the highest standards of customer service, professionalism, and integrity with all customers and colleagues.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Teller Responsibilities:
Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and account transfers.
Handle cash transactions, ensuring proper balancing and adherence to cash handling procedures.
Provide customers with account balances, transaction histories, and other account-related information.
Assist customers with routine inquiries and requests, such as check cashing and issuing cashier's checks through all communication channels.
Verify customer identity and authenticate transactions to prevent fraud and ensure security.
Participate in branch opening and closing rotation schedule
Balance Vault and ATM, adhering to appropriate procedures
Account Services Responsibilities:
Open and close accounts, including checking, savings, and certificates of deposit, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Identify and recommend appropriate banking products and services to meet customers' financial goals and needs.
Collaborate with other departments within the bank to resolve customer issues and ensure a seamless banking experience.
Other duties as assigned.

• Demonstrate general knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act and OFAC related responsibilities in the performance of daily operations to ensure adherence to bank policies and compliance with all regulatory requirements
REQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent education certificate (GED)
PREFERRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
6+ months teller experience, preferred
6+ months new accounts experience, preferred
