We seek a dynamicRegulatory Affairs Managerto strengthen our registration team.
What You’ll Do:
As our Crop Protection Regulatory Affairs Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting the registration of our current, developing, and newly-acquired pesticide products in the U.S. and other regions, including Asia/Pacific, Latin America, Africa, Europe, and Canada. You’ll interact with internal and external customers, including state/provincial and federal regulatory authorities, to support NovaSource products.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Developing and implementing domestic and global registration strategies
Preparing and submitting pesticide registration packages to regulatory authorities
Providing analysis and expertise in pesticide registration matters
Work with local country representatives to prepare dossiers for global pesticide submissions
Manage select product safety data generation (e.g. toxicology, ecotoxicology, human or environmental effects and exposure, analytical chemistry, etc.) for pesticide products with the support of internal and external subject-matter experts
Meetings with regional and global regulatory authorities, and industry trade associations, e.g., CropLife America (CLA), Biological Products Industry Alliance (BPIA).Ability to travel to scientific and trade association conferences and to meetings with regulatory authorities (~10%).
Monitoring and analyzing developing regulations and regulatory trends
Qualifications
Who You Are:
You’re a seasoned professional with at least 5 years of hands-on experience with conventional pesticide products in the agrochemical industry, and you are proficient in your knowledge of EPA FIFRA pesticide registration requirements and strategies. You’ve negotiated with USEPA, PMRA, CDPR or other agencies that regulate pesticides, defending products.
Your academic background includes a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. inchemistry, ecotoxicology, environmental or health sciences, toxicology, or a similar area that is applicable to pesticide science. Alternatively, you may have equivalent hands-on regulatory affairs experience with conventional pesticides.
You’re a problem-solver with excellent written and verbal communication skills and adept at analyzing complex challenges regarding pesticide product safety or registration. . You’re comfortable juggling multiple tasks and can work independently and as a team.
