This Position will assess client health problems and needs, develop and implement best practices and maintain electronic medical records in the Clinic. This position will work to develop and train clinical staff in collaboration with the Executive Director of Clinical Operations.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Assess the patient: collect and document the patient's current health status and medical history.
Make an accurate and ongoing assessment of the patient's status and respond appropriately.
Plan/implement: set priorities for nursing action in a logical sequence according to the patient's needs and formulate a plan of care by the appropriate selection of Nurse Practice Standards.
Evaluate : perform ongoing assessment and revise plan of care based on new data and patient's condition .
Document accurate and ongoing assessment of patient status.
Communicate with the physician regarding the patient's needs, the nursing assessments, and recommendations as needed.
Collaborate with other nurses and health team members to ensure the patient's well-being.
Supervise, mentor, and provide training to clinical staff.
Performs MA staff evaluations and provides feedback regarding performance in collaboration with Clinic Administrator.
Abides by Compliance and HIPAA guidelines, ensuring maintenance of patient privacy and protection of patient health information/confidential data.
Oversees the daily flow of the back office.
Assist the Clinic Administrator to prepare for any internal or external audits by ensuring compliance with any and all regulations.
Ensures daily monitoring of quality control and medication logs; implements appropriate follow-up as necessary.
Administer medications according to policy and procedure.
Manages inventory of supplies, medications, and vaccines.
Oversees procedures performed in the clinic
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in nursing.
QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to work in a matrixed environment.
Current Nevada RN licensure.
Prefer experience with the SMI population.
Knowledge of prior authorization and referrals.
Knowledge and applicability of ICD-10 codes.
Knowledge of medications.
