Registered Dietician We are hiring a full-time Registered Dietician. We have earned a reputation for exceptional service and attention when providing rehabilitation, assisted living, and skilled nursing care. Job Duties:
Coordinate nutritional care of residents and patients by completing nutritional assessments.
Participate in IDT meetings as required.
Provide nutritional counseling and education for residents and family.
Provides dietary in-service training as required.
Perform other duties as assigned by management. Required Skills/Abilities:
Good decision making and judgment capabilities.
Ability to identify and solve complex problems.
Great communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
High comfort level with enteral nutrition, wounds, weight management, Hemodialysis.
Comfortable working in a healthcare facility.
Familiarity with state survey process and compliance with nutrition care regulations. The successful candidate will:
Have a Registered Dietitian credential and FL license.
Provide nutritional care to long-term care residents and sub-acute rehab patients.
Plan, organize, develop, and direct the nutritional care of the resident in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines, regulations and established facility/company policies and procedures.
Be an active member of the interdisciplinary care conferences.
Valid Florida Driver’s License
Represent the Food & Nutrition Department as a liaison with the medical and nursing staff.
Experience with electronic charting such as Point Click Care is a plus Schedule:
