Position Summary

As Regional VP of Branches, you'll play a crucial role in overseeing several branch managers, ensuring operational efficiency, meeting sales goals, and delivering outstanding member service. We're seeking a visionary leader with extensive financial services management experience to drive the success of multiple branches.

Work Environment

  • Schedule: Average 40 hours per week, Monday through Saturday
  • Location: Remote/Hybrid eligible
  • Travel: Regular travel required to collaborate with regional branches

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Management:
  • Lead, coach, and mentor branch managers to enhance team performance
  • Foster an inclusive and collaborative work environment
  • Develop professional growth plans for branch managers
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to ensure goal achievement
  • Strategic Planning and Execution:
  • Develop and implement regional strategies aligned with organizational objectives
  • Analyze branch performance metrics to identify growth opportunities
  • Work with leadership to align branch activities with overall credit union strategies
  • Operational Excellence:
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Standardize best practices across branches
  • Conduct regular assessments to maintain high standards
  • Sales and Relationship Development:
  • Oversee sales plans to achieve regional targets
  • Implement strategies to increase membership, deposits, and loan portfolios
  • Support relationship-building with local businesses and community organizations
  • Member Services:
  • Ensure exceptional member service across all branches
  • Address and resolve escalated member issues
  • Promote a positive member experience
  • Financial Management:
  • Manage regional budgets and monitor expenses
  • Analyze financial reports to assess performance
  • Implement cost-saving measures without compromising service quality
  • Community Engagement:
  • Represent the credit union at community events
  • Encourage branch involvement in local initiatives
  • Develop partnerships with community organizations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business or finance-related field preferred; MBA a plus
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a financial institution, with 5+ years in leadership roles
  • Strong knowledge of credit union operations, products, and services
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and driving business growth
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
