Our client, a national developer and manager of affordable housing, is seeking a dedicated Regional Vice President to oversee multi-state operations of multifamily affordable housing.
Responsibilities
Lead a team to achieve financial goals and ensure compliance practices are met
Recruit, train, and develop staff to optimize performance
Cultivate relationships with agencies, investors, and ownership groups
Communicate updates effectively within the region
Conduct regular property visits to enforce compliance standards
Provide guidance on budgeting, expense management, and maintenance initiatives
Keep management informed of progress and challenges
Qualifications
A minimum of 10 years managing multi-state property operations in affordable housing
Strong knowledge of compliance regulations such as LIHTC, HUD, and S8
Industry certifications such as CPO, CPM, SHCM, TCM are preferred
Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and property operations
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Proficient in MS 365 and Property Management software
Willingness to travel approximately 40% of the time
Location: Houston, TX
Compensation: $150,000 - $180,000+ (negotiable based on experience), plus bonus and comprehensive benefits package
