Join a National Developer and Manager of Affordable Housing
A national developer and manager of affordable housing is seeking a dedicated Regional Vice President to oversee a portfolio of multifamily affordable housing and market rate properties.
Responsibilities
Direct Regional Managers to achieve financial goals and compliance practices.
Conduct property visits and support on-site teams.
Recruit, train, mentor, coach, and develop teams for optimal performance.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with involved Agencies, addressing escalated issues.
Lead regional communications and ensure team awareness of updates.
Provide guidance on budgeting, expenses, capital improvements, and maintenance expectations.
Address escalated resident concerns.
Ensure thorough understanding among property management staff of various schedules and plans.
Conduct weekly meetings with Regional Managers for properties in active rent-up.
Keep Development and Senior Management updated on progress.
Travel to properties in the portfolio, attend corporate meetings, conferences, and training.
Qualifications
5+ years managing multi-state property operations in affordable housing, experience in market rate properties is a plus.
Knowledge of Low-Income Housing Tax Credit and local programs.
Preferred certifications: CPO, CPM, SHCM, TCM.
Experience in finance, budgets, capital expenses, and overall operations.
Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency in MS 365 and Property Management software.
Ability to travel approximately 30%.

Based in Dallas or Houston, TX - Hybrid
Compensation
$150,000 - $160,000+ negotiable, with bonus and comprehensive benefits package including healthcare and car allowance.
