Role And Responsibilities
Account Management:
- Build and sustain strong relationships with key retail accounts in the Minneapolis region.
- Act as the main point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring high levels of customer service and satisfaction.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets for Samsung digital appliances.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base within the assigned territory.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and market penetration.
- Partner with marketing and product teams to create promotional strategies that support sales objectives.
- Track and analyze sales performance and market trends to guide decision-making.
- Provide regular reports on account performance, sales metrics, and market insights.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of Samsung’s digital appliance products and industry trends.
- Conduct product training sessions and presentations for retail partners and their sales teams.
- Quickly address and resolve any issues or concerns from retail partners.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective problem-solving and support.
- Work closely with the regional sales team, marketing, and supply chain departments to ensure the effective implementation of sales strategies.
- Participate in regional and national sales meetings, training sessions, and industry events.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
- 6-8 years of experience in sales account management, preferably in the consumer electronics or digital appliances sector.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ideal candidate will reside in Minneapolis / St. Paul, MN metro area.
- Must be able to travel 50%-60% within the territory.
