The Regional Sales Manager for ‘USA Mid-Atlantic’ (DC, DE, MD, NY, PA, NC or VA), gathers a deep understanding of our portfolio of products and the invaluable support that they offer our customers in the Law Enforcement market. This role leverages product knowledge and customer insights to promote solutions found in Safe Fleet Law Enforcement products and to drive sales growth with new and existing customers.

The Regional Sales Manager for ‘USA Mid-Atlantic’ (DC, DE, MD, NY, PA, NC or VA), gathers a deep understanding of our portfolio of products and the invaluable support that they offer our customers in the Law Enforcement market. This role leverages product knowledge and customer insights to promote solutions found in Safe Fleet Law Enforcement products and to drive sales growth with new and existing customers.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement a competitive strategy to bring about substantial growth in the assigned territory;
- Engage regularly with existing customers to build rapport and identify further opportunities;
- Identify and pursue opportunities with new customers;
- Seek out information and resources as needed to ensure expertise in our products is always current and thorough;
- Prepare and adapt sales presentations to engage with a diverse range of customers;
- Resolve customer concerns by investigating problems, solving things within your control and making recommendations to management for anything outside your scope;
- Contribute to product development by capturing and sharing back customer requests and feedback related to new product opportunities, and/or product, packaging, and service changes, and/or competitor offerings;
- Provide visibility by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses
- Actively pursue membership and engagement with relevant professional associations, networking groups and events;
- Proactively seek to understand the processes and requirements of support departments and work to maintain effective team relationships;
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
- Disciplined self-starter with 3+ years of consultative sales experience, selling complex technology solutions (ideally integrated video / security systems)
- Technical aptitude, along with a good understanding of internet and wireless communication systems and topologies;
- Ability to explain complex technical solutions to non-technical buyers/influencers at the end user level;
- Excellent oral and written communication;
- Strong persuasion and interpersonal skills;
- Experience developing customized strategies and proposals that win new business
- Skilled in developing and delivering marketing proposals and presentations;
- Excited to work in a highly entrepreneurial setting where 'many hats' must be worn.
- Hard driving, "Close the Deal" attitude is important but must be balanced with flexibility, patience and adaptability;
- Project management experience will be a great asset;
- Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Suite
- Valid driver’s license is required – travel within the territory and Houston, TX facility (up to 70%)
