Slakey Brothers has an immediate need for a Regional Sales Manager for HVAC Supplies and Plumbing to lead our Sales Team and growth of Customer relationships in Central North California Region!
Region -Elk Grove, Fairfield, North Highlands, Reno (home branch Elk Grove, Fairfield, or North Highlands)
Starting salary range- $125,000-$150,000 based on experience
Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and communicate clear strategies, programs, goals and expectations for Slakey's supplies and plumbing sales efforts
Perform a full range of management responsibilities including effectively delegating work to members of Regional Sales Team
Coach and mentor the Team Members to achieve regional sales and GP goals
Develop and maintain strong relationships with Slakey Brothers’ customers, advocate for the customers and promptly report all customer service challenges or issues
Drive interaction between Region Operations Manager, Regional Sales Managers, Pricing, Logistics, Credit and Marketing to promptly serve Slakey Brothers’ customers and maximize sales
Education/Experience/Skills
College degree preferred, but not required
5+ years related management experience preferred
Prior outside sales experience preferred
Excellent knowledge of the products Slakey Brothers sells
Strong decision-making abilities - understands impact and implications of decisions
Strong negotiation skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong presentation skills
