Works directly with the assigned Spirit Hound Sales Representatives,Wholesaler (s), and their sales staff to promote sales, the brand and achieve target distribution and volume goals. The Field Sales Manager main job requirements include managing a team of Sales Reps, managing one or more distributor partners, while establishing and maintaining a professional sales relationship with key retailers within the assigned territory.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Supports Spirit Hound Core Values, Purpose, and Philosophies
75% in market, 10% administrative, 15% Distributor
Maintains constant communication with the Market Manager, Distributor sales force, and key retailers and direct reports
Develops, manages, owns the results on a quarterly target account list built from goals and objectives. The list will include a subset of priority accounts visited monthly and a larger set of both buying and non-buy accounts to be visited quarterly. Account List size and geography will vary by territory and be set in collaboration with the Regional Market Manager.
Assists the development of assigned sales representatives quarterly target lists built from goals and objectives featuring the same parameters as their own list.
Must be able to analyze and develop sales opportunities from VIP data, other syndicated data sources, marketing department research data
Creates selling stories and sales sheets to support priority brands and key initiatives. These are shared with sales representatives and distributor sales teams to successfully sell SHD programs/brands.
Develops and maintains positive relationships with wholesalers and key accounts.
Responsible for the selection, onboarding, training and development of new and existing sales representatives, while following the parameters of the SHD Sales Development Process.
Manages the performance of existing Sales Representatives, including corrective action if necessary.
Responsible for in store activation management

Reliable car and a valid driver’s license
Ability to work flexible schedule; ability to work nights and week-ends.
Excellent organizational, planning, and sales skills
Two years’ minimum experience working in the three-tier distribution system either with a beer wholesaler or beer supplier.
Strong knowledge Spirits, the industry, and its retail consumers.
Proficient in Microsoft office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Excellent oral, analytical, written, and communication skills
Dynamic public specking and presentation skills
Travel is required
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 3 years wine and spirits experience
Work Environment

Work will be done in a home office or in a vehicle
Consistent visits to bars, restaurants, and retail accounts will be required.
