Regional Sales Manager

Natalie’s Orchid Island Juice Company seeks a Regional Manager – West for a fast-paced, family-owned and operated authentically fresh, clean-label juice company. The ideal candidate for this role should be astute in all aspects of the selling journey from start to finish and be adept at creating new and unique opportunities to pivot and position the Natalie's brand as a premium beverage choice at hotels, restaurants, retailers, and distributors within their territory. You will be responsible for discerning and driving these new business opportunities within your region, whilst growing and nurturing existing customer relationships. Identifying blossoming market trends and niche selling spaces will be key in developing and taking ownership of your region.


The Role


The Regional Sales Manager (RM) leads and oversees a team of Territory Sales Managers within an assigned Region. The RM is responsible for driving the strategy and initiatives established by the Natalie’s Orchid Island Juice leadership team. A main priority of the RM is to establish, build and maintain relationships with the senior leadership and ownership of key Distributor Partners and Customers within their Region.


The candidate for this role MUST live in and/or around Los Angeles/Southern California, CA. Travel is required to cover the stated region including California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington.


Key Responsibilities


· First and foremost, to lead by example as a Salesperson, selling to all channels of business with an emphasis on Food Service

· The RM owns the budget and targets (volume, distribution, share, etc.) for their assigned region

· Manage a team of 3-5 Team Members and Broker Partners to achieve plan

· Develop communication schedule with distributor Partners and Customers to implement Natalie’s business strategies and projects

· Develop communication process with TSM(s) to ensure understanding of strategies and goals

· Manage and achieve defined KPI targets for the region: account base, distribution, additional end user activations, etc.

· Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships in defined region by providing first class customer service and engagement with all distributors and customers

· Develop best practices to share and implement within the organization

· Work across other departments to benchmark performance and best practices

· Train, motivate, lead, and develop the sales team to maximize their potential and results

· Ensure distributor partners, customers, and TSM(s) have the information and tools they need to execute and achieve goals

· Establish and maintain a dynamic team environment that encourages positive attitudes, and team interaction


Key Skills and Experience Required


· 10+ years’ experience in traditional off premise sector

· 5+ years’ experience leading sales teams

· Leadership, motivation, and team skills

· Clear understanding of the food service and on/off-premise channels

· A commitment to people management and development with a proven ability to build and develop talent

· Strong analytical and organizational ability

· Good working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) and experience with Field Force automation

· High negotiation and interpersonal skills

· Experience with management reporting and budget control


Education Requirements


· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience


Travel


· 50%

· This position requires a clean driving record and authorization to obtain your Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) upon receiving and accepting a job offer

· This position requires a valid driver's license
