The Regional Sales Manager (RSM), reporting to the Territory Vice President (TVP), is a member of the Regional Sales Management team. This individual is responsible for leading, training and supervising his/her sales team, including such activities as: employment decisions, counseling, coaching and goal setting. The RSM is responsible for: account profitability, sales growth and sales service standards in his/her assigned region, key account maintenance and strategic sales planning at account level, analyzing data to identify and execute a plan to enhance sales and profit growth in his/her region. This position at Lipari Foods is ideal for the candidate who has the ability to lead and develop a sales team to deliver our products. This position is responsible for development and growth to our sales team with assigned accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage productivity of Sales Representatives
Improve sales techniques in accounts
Inspire and develop sales team
Responsible for defined sales targets
Maintaining and expanding customer base
Goal setting and sales forecasting
Lead sales team to meet sales objectives and quotas
Monitor and evaluate sales expenses
Apply corrective actions where necessary
Organize and execute regional sales meetings
Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing preferred
At least 5 years of experience in sales or related field
2+ years in a managerial role
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office; Powersell and WebFocus a plus
Willingness and ability to travel extensively
Strong leadership skills
Analytical skills to manage sales and profitability growth
Strong organizational skills and impeccable follow
