Regional Sales
POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:
Sales is responsible for establishing and maintaining good relationships with current customers. They must build trust and act as support for prospects, ensuring they lead to potential future sales. This position is directly involved with Customer Service and General Managers, along with Purchasing and Engineering Departments.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Travel within sales territory to meet prospects and customers
· Conduct calls and face-to-face meetings with customers daily
· Build and maintain relationships with new and repeat customers
· Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs
· Educate customers on how products or services can benefit them financially and professionally
· Monitor the company’s industry competitors, new products, and market conditions to understand a customer's specific needs
· Prospecting, negotiating, and closing sales orders
· Servicing existing accounts and growing new accounts
· Build and maintain a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads.
· Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale.
· Maintains communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest.
· Maintains detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems.
· Maintain pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising, techniques, etc.

· Responsible for the increase of sales in a particular territory with growth being the main objective.
