Do you enjoy being in the market? Do you enjoy a challenge? The Krusteaz Company is looking to add a Regional Retail Manager in the Southeast area to the team! This position is responsible for creating and implementing sales plans and marketing programs, ensuring the plans hit both topline and bottom line Corporate and Regional goals, within the framework of The Krusteaz Company’s long term “go to market” strategy. This role will need to reside in Florida.

Essential Functions: Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time.

  • Develops and executes sales plans, marketing programs, and sales policies that will assure department short term and long term objectives are achieved.
  • Creates a region sales plan with measurable objectives.
  • Responsible for executing new item launches and hitting new item ACV targets
  • Maintains high visibility in the market place and develops strong relationships with key customers and key brokers in order to have firsthand knowledge of developing trends and opportunities.
  • Meets monthly with supply chain to forecast region sales
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining accurate sales plans in trade management system.
  • Works with Accounts Receivable team to achieve Deduction management goals.
  • Meets monthly with Broker partners to ensure we are on track to hit our goals.
  • Conducts both a midyear and year end Broker Review.
  • Works with broker retail team on a quarterly basis to ensure retail goals are achieved
  • Establishes and maintains a communications process that keeps Corporate Management
  • Provides an exceptional experience with our products including baking and sampling multiple items for Customer meetings.
  • Travels to multiple markets, key customer meetings, and other customer-sponsored events where necessary and appropriate to achieve sales objectives.
  • Travels to attend company-sponsored events i.e. sales meetings, training classes, industry shows, etc.
  • Conducts monthly retail audits in multiple markets.

  • Highly developed verbal and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Circana/IRI, Trade Promotion Systems, Forecasting Tools, and other Web-based applications.
  • Knowledge of the Regional market for Consumer Product Goods.
  • Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business or Marketing, or equivalent experience/training.
  • 5-10 years experience in dealing with and managing food brokers required.
  • Successful background in CPG food sales required.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone along with reaching. Specific vision abilities include close vision requirements due to computer work. Moderate noise, ability to work in a confined area, and ability to sit at a computer for an extended period of time are also included.

Salary Information: An employee in this position can expect a salary range between $112,583 and $185,755. We typically pay out between $127,000 and $161,000. The actual salary offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including internal equity, experience, education, certification, training, and location. All positions are eligible for additional incentives based on business performance.
