The Job

As the The Regional Operations Manager you will be part of the The Home Depot field team working as a remote employee. You will be responsible for the operational strategy and the development of all Market Managers and Sales Coordinators within the Division. This person will assist in the development of the sales strategic plan and vision for The Home Depot field sales team. You’ll get to:


  • Aid in delivering sales results by ensuring operational excellence and execution within the Division.
  • Ensure successful field expansion through managing on-boarding program.
  • Set operational Market Manager monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals for all Stanley Black & Decker Portfolios.
  • Operationally develop team of Market Managers and Sales Coordinators through coaching and existing measurement tools.
  • Develop and implement strategy to improve Market manager Business Acumen
  • Take lead with MET relationships within Division to foster partnerships and develop best practices.
  • Create strategy to effectively balance and manage inventory within the Division
  • Partner with DSM to execute Review process to develop Market Managers and track Manager Business Objectives (MBO's) to measure team's performance.
  • Play a lead role in interaction with Home Depot’s Headquarter team and the Channel/Product team.

  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of five years sales and management experience;
  • a strong understanding of the Retail; proven exceptional leadership/management skills;
  • excellent oral/written communication and presentation skills;
  • strong entrepreneurial spirit with an eagerness to meet and exceed goals and targets;
  • to be assertive, organized and have a strong follow-through with great attention to detail;
  • to demonstrate the ability to think analytically and make decisions based on numbers and/or fact-based information;
  • the ability to understand the cross functional pieces of the SBD business process and bring value added thinking to improve the target business process;
  • the willingness to accept and demonstrate the SBD Leadership Qualities;
  • and working knowledge of computer software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Mail)
