KBM, Inc. is a leading provider of comprehensive janitorial, maintenance and facility services.

The primary job responsibility of this position will be the monitoring of service quality for our service locations in an assigned territory, to be based in the Atlanta, GA Area. This position will require day and night time shifts depending on the company needs. You get to work from home part of the time. You will need to travel and stay overnight in other cities sometimes. You must have a personal vehicle to use until you get a company vehicle. See travel section below.

Salary: $55,000/yr to $60,000/yr based on experience.

IF YOU HAVE HOSPITALITY OR RETAIL MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE, THAT IS A PLUS. QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE ASSISTANT MANAGER & UP EXPERIENCE.

Specific responsibilities include establishing work standards, conducting site evaluations/audits, overall inventory/equipment usage employee performance appraisals, troubleshooting/problem solving, orientation/training. Sometimes you may need to assist with the cleaning. This position reports directly to the Director of Operations & Senior Vice President of Operations.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Conduct building inspections on a routine basis, frequent walkthroughs with customer.

- Establish and maintain open lines of communication with customer and the company.

- Ensure proper usage of supplies and equipment through the training and development of supervisors and employees.

- Monitor daily work hours using efficient scheduling to remain within budgetary guidelines.

- Be able to operate and teach subordinates how to safely operate and maintain all types of cleaning machinery and equipment.

- Adhere to company guidelines for employee relations, employee discipline and termination procedures.

- Provide safe working environment for the employees.

- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.

- Respond to emergency situations in a timely and efficient manner.

- Resolve and follow-up on all complaints/issues from customers, employees or others.

Qualifications and Skills

Preferred Experience: Seeking candidates with 5+ years leadership experience in a Assistant Manager or higher role in hospitality/retail/entertainment industry.

Required Experience: Customer Service / Leadership experience.

8. Excellent Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Powerpoint, Excel and Outlook)

PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS REQUIRED: Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods. Requires bending, stooping, reaching up, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

TRAVEL: This job requires travel 90% (overnight travel about 50% of the time). Must have a clean driving record and personal vehicle. Mileage provided for personal vehicle use outside your home metro area, company vehicle may be available later in your employment. Paid on the job training provided. Will have a company cell phone/laptop/company credit card.
