Under general supervision of the Regional Director of Maintenance, the Regional Maintenance Manager is responsible for the below.


The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • 3 – 5 years of industry knowledge and experience working on tractors, trailers, and forklifts.
  • 3 – 5 years of shop management or supervisory experience.
  • Strong technical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in and develop a team atmosphere.
  • Experience and understanding of working within a budget.
  • Strong knowledge of Class 8 truck & trailer repair.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office.
  • Excellent multitasking and organization skills.


Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintenance to all equipment types located within their designated region.
  • Travels overnight to facilities within region to perform training and compliance audits.
  • Maintains up to nine shop facilities and their following equipment within company and departmental goals in accordance with state and federal requirements.
  • Assists with organizing, planning, and goal setting for preventative maintenance programs.
  • Motivates, organizes, and maintains multiple shop staff's productivity.
  • Interviews, hires, coaches, counsels and administers discipline.
  • Oversees compliance in maintaining region's maintenance parts, supplies, and tire inventories.
  • Instructs shop managers/supervisors and lead personnel in goal achievement and staff productivity.
  • Utilizes Microsoft Excel and Word programs to prepare reports and analyze data.
  • Uses in house (TQS/Transman) computer programs to generate equipment service and inspection due lists.
