Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated Regional Finance Manager to join our remote team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Regional Finance Director to drive financial excellence across our operations. You'll be pivotal in crafting budgets, analyzing financial data, and ensuring accurate accounting practices to support our diverse portfolio of programming and content.

Key Responsibilities

Develop annual budgets and conduct bi-weekly forecasting to optimize financial performance.

Analyze financial results, identify variances, and provide strategic insights to enhance decision-making.

Manage monthly regional sales commissions and collaborate with Corporate Payroll for timely payments.

Oversee accrual accounting processes and assist with balance sheet reconciliations.

Monitor accounts receivable and support regional collection efforts to maintain financial health.

Coordinate invoice submissions and payments, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders and support local market operations.

Administer trade accounting functions on a monthly basis and assist with audit requirements.

Contribute to financial planning and analysis (FP&A) initiatives and participate in special projects as needed.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field required; CPA certification preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial management or accounting roles.

Profound understanding of US GAAP and proficiency in financial analysis.

Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams and with external partners.

Flexible and adaptable mindset to navigate evolving business needs.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with experience in systems like Workday and Adaptive Planning/Great Plains preferred.
