JOB DESCRIPTION:

Company Overview: WaterWalk is a dynamic and rapidly growing hospitality organization with a portfolio of hotels across various states, each offering unique guest experiences. WaterWalk brings an innovative approach to the extended stay hotel segment, offering both traditional extended stay suites as well as unfurnished suite options for longer stay lengths. We are seeking a dynamic and strategic professional to join our team as the Regional Director of Operations. This role is pivotal in overseeing the operational performance of our hotels, driving revenue and sales strategies, and ensuring an unparalleled level of guest satisfaction across our portfolio.


Job Summary: As the Regional Director of Operations, you will be responsible for developing and implementing operational strategies to enhance the overall performance of our hotel portfolio. This position requires a results-oriented individual with a proven track record in driving revenue, optimizing sales strategies, and improving operational efficiencies. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in fostering a culture of excellence, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maximizing financial performance across hotels in multiple states.


Key Responsibilities:

Revenue and Sales Strategies:

Partner with hotel leadership & the Revenue Management team to develop and implement effective revenue management strategies to drive profitability.

Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to optimize sales strategies and achieve revenue goals.

Operational Efficiencies:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotels to ensure efficiency and compliance with brand standards.

Identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost savings.

Collaborate with GM & DOS to create action plans to hit monthly revenue and CPOR targets.

Provide oversight to property leadership teams to manage labor and CPOR.

Guest Satisfaction:

Champion a culture of exceptional guest service and satisfaction across all properties.

Monitor guest feedback and develop action plans to continuously enhance the guest experience.

Team Leadership:

Provide consistent coaching for GM & DOS along with bi-yearly performance reviews to ensure brand culture and expectations are conveyed to the entire hotel team.

Complete regularly scheduled 1:1 meetings with GM and team meeting to ensure key priorities are communicated and executed at the hotel level.

Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture among the hotel staff.

Financial Performance:

Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics for each property.

Develop and execute strategies to achieve financial targets and budget goals.

Brand Compliance:

Ensure that all hotels adhere to brand standards and guidelines.

Conduct regular audits to assess and maintain quality assurance.

Recruiting and Hiring Assistance:

Work closely with hiring managers to streamline the hiring process and ensure a positive candidate experience.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a senior regional operational leadership role within the hotel industry; minimum 3-5 years experience
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue, optimizing sales strategies, and improving operational efficiencies.
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills leveraging industry reporting, P&L oversight and labor management tools.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the Americas region
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, with travel as needed.
