Regional Clinic Director

The Regional Directors will support the Director of clinic operations. S/he will support the Clinic Managers in driving the implementation of clinic policies and procedures by providing administrative, operation, and management support to the Director of Clinic Operations. S/he will also act as the backup clinic manager as necessary.

This position leads, manages, supervises the Clinic managers in an assigned region area and oversees the integration of clinic operations, including Medical, Dental, IBH management, and any specialty services offered at St John's well child and family service. The Regional Directors will coordinate and direct the day-to-day basis to ensure delivery of quality patient care; responsible for all appropriate documentation and reporting requirements. The Regional Director actively participates in the various meetings and training. Mandatory Travel to Various Clinic Locations in the Inland Empire.

Qualifications/Licensure:

  • Bachelor of Arts/Science Degree (Preferred)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required or some college preferred .
  • Administrative and/or assistant experience 1-2 years .
  • One or more years of clinic operations management.
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish (Preferred)
  • Proficient Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Familiarity with medical terminology (Preferred)
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills and the ability to type 50 wpm.
  • Business Office Administrative (Preferred)

Responsibilities:

  • Acts as back-up Clinic Manager to other Clinic Managers.
  • Answers and screens telephone calls, and arranges conference calls.
  • Arranges and coordinates travel schedules and reservations.
  • Coordinates and arranges meetings, prepares agendas, reserves and prepares facilities, and records and transcribes minutes of meetings.
  • Develops agency policies and signing sheets.
  • Follows-up on application pending/process: DHS, CLIA, Pharmacy, LA Care, etc.
  • Generates charts and reports as needed for the various clinics.
  • Makes copies of correspondence or other printed materials as necessary.
  • Manages Outlook Calendar for Director of Clinic Operations.
  • Manages and updates Contacts information in Outlook for Director of Clinic Operations.
  • Orders and maintains supplies, and arranges for equipment maintenance as necessary.
  • Organizes and maintains file system, and files correspondence and other records.
  • Prepares outgoing mail and correspondence, including e-mail and faxes.
  • Purchases items as necessary.
  • Facilitates the renewal of license(s) as necessary.
  • Replies to emails or other correspondence as needed
  • Reviews and approves time cards and time off requests of Clinic Managers.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of operational protocols in compliance with operational policies
  • Assist with oversight of clinic staff responsible for implementation of clinic policies and procedures.
  • Act as a liaison on behalf of the COO with Clinic Managers, Facilities Manager, and other members of the clinic staff.
  • Attend meetings or participate in conference calls for or in place of the COO.
  • Assist with the development of monthly statistical reports.
  • Assist with the preparation for clinic audits and participation in audits.
  • Assist with clinic growth work with Fast Track scheduling and roll out of new clinics. Set up of departments, vendors, permits, and licensing etc...
  • Assists Director of Clinic Operations with recruitments, hires, and trainings of incoming personnel on products and services.
  • Submits Purchase Orders check requests, reimbursements, and credit card reports
  • Works with vendors to obtain quotes
  • Other duties as assigned by the COO.
