Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance CDI operations
Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to optimize performance
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
Provide leadership and mentorship to CDI managers and specialists
Drive continuous improvement in documentation quality and efficiency
Qualifications
Nursing degree (ADN/BSN preferred) or Health Information Management credential (RHIT/RHIA preferred)
Current state RN license or Certified Coding Specialist credential
Demonstrated leadership experience in healthcare, preferably in CDI, HIM, or Case Management
Strong knowledge of Medicare regulations and DRG classification
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently in a remote or facility setting
