Regional Account Manager, Value
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Value Field Sales, your main priority is selling and implementing our strategy and initiatives with a set group of Regions, Divisions, or Banners of a specific national chain. Main responsibilities include building retailer partner relationships at the region / division level, fostering internal relationships with partners and Distributor Partner's (DPs), overseeing the development of sub-national strategies; and managing data analytics and scorecarding. This Regional Account Manager can sit in Santa Monica, CA, Northern CA, Phoenix, AZ, or Denver, CO.
All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:
CROSS FUNCTIONAL LEADERSHIP AND PARTNERSHIP:
Communicate with relevant region and DP personnel to ensure personal contact and successful program implementation Build sustainable Infrastructure to ensures that Distributor Partners are set up for success inclusive of DP wiring into your accounts, ensuring that DP management and ASM's understand plans, and developing resources to give the ASM the best chance for a successful meeting/conversation Visit DPs to ensure clarity of plan, prioritization, and local opportunities Co-develop local plans with DPs to maximize volume-per-outlet (VPO), while minimizing all execution gaps Communicate performance, scorecarding, wins, and opportunities
BUSINESS ANALYTICS:
Use data analytics to define priorities, evaluate performance, and identify opportunities for growth (both Internal & external). Establish necessary tools, templates, and scorecards to measure Distributor Partners and identify selling opportunities Conduct quarterly business reviews to update all partners on business, channel competition, and opportunities. Work with Sr. Manager and National Account Managers to evaluate return on investment with regard to all regional/divisional events and promotions. Analyze results of promotions, programs, and incremental division-level programs. Share examples of our marketing and retail activities/activations to demonstrate important points of difference to competition. Ad hoc ownership of special projects for both the Value Team and total small format.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
- 2+ years of Sales and Key Account experience in Beverage, CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods), or FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) industries or within a Direct Store Delivery DSD) operation.
- Experience in chains (Value/Dollar preferred).
- Experience analyzing internal and external data sources (i.e. Nielsen, IRI, 1010)
- Negotiation experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Must be fluent in English, additional language skills an advantage
