Responsibilities
Work with landlords and property managers to secure housing on behalf of clients
Assess safety and suitability of housing, negotiate leases, create utilities accounts
Complete financial requests for move-in charges including deposits, rent payments using agency funds
Create and cultivate property partnerships to expand the availability of housing to our clients
Assign appropriate housing to incoming clients, considering age, sex, and disabilities of occupants
Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure appropriate furniture and supplies are moved into housing units
Effectively communicate with case managers and other agency staff to ensure record keeping and real-time situational awareness
Qualifications
Desire and capacity for engaging in a multicultural environment
Excellent verbal and written communication
Administrative skills, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams
Knowledge of leasing, inspecting rented housing
— Real estate experience preferred
Reliable transportation for visits, inspections, and other appointments (mileage reimbursable)
