Position Summary

The Recruiting Coordinator plays an important role in the organization by performing a number of tasks related to the company’s Human Resources functions. The role is responsible, under direct supervision, for working closely with candidates, hiring manager, hiring agencies and other human resources professionals in support of the business hiring needs and goals. This role is responsible for administrative duties that facilitate the initial recruitment process, from conducting pre-screening, phone screening with potential candidates, scheduling interviews, administering behavioral assessments to potential candidates and participating in the interview process.


Essential Functions

  • Consult with Talent Acquisitions Specialist and/or hiring manager to identify and confirm staff requirements and specific position objectives.
  • Source candidates by using databases and social media.
  • Perform in-depth phone screens to identify strongest candidates.
  • Utilize Guild’s Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platform to post jobs, stage candidates and monitor metrics.
  • Assist Talent Acquisitions Specialist team with implementation of overall recruiting strategy.
  • Assist the Temporary Employee process company-wide by working with Hiring Managers and Temporary Staffing Agencies for streamlined onboarding.
  • Support audit of active temporary employee list for accurate HRIS data tracking.
  • Provide a list of qualified candidates to the Recruiter and/or hiring managers.
  • Assist the Talent Acquisitions team with recruiting methods and interview questions.
  • Maintain a complete record of interviews conducted.
  • Develop complex metric reports including Pivot Tables using Microsoft Excel.
  • Stay up-to-date with current recruiting methods.
  • Attend job fairs and career events.
  • Assist in managing Guild’s Internship program.
  • Administer behavioral PI (Predictive Index) Assessments as requested.
  • Support administrative tasks within the PI Software platform.
  • Manage inquiries submitted to Guild’s HR Recruiting inbox and escalate to Talent Acquisition Specialist if necessary.
  • Review published positions on a consistent basis to ensure accurate portrayal of current openings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • High school degree is required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word, required.
  • Hands on experience with various selection processes like phone interviews and reference checks.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong detail orientation and highly organized.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete projects within deadline.
  • Solid knowledge of HR policies and best practices.
  • Ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency based and behavioral).
  • Familiarity with HR databases, applicant tracking systems and candidate management systems.
  • Familiarity with social media, especially LinkedIn.
  • Ethical, with a commitment to company values.

Physical: Work is primarily sedentary; mobility in an office setting.

Manual Dexterity: Frequent use of computer keyboard and mouse.

Audio/Visual: Ability to accurately interpret sounds and associated meanings at a volume consistent with interpersonal conversation. Regularly required to accurately perceive, distinguish and interpret information received visually and through audio; e.g., words, numbers and other data broadcasted aloud/viewed on a screen, as well as print and other media.

Environmental: Office environment – no substantial exposure to adverse environmental conditions.

Targeted Salary Range: $18.64/hr to $24.66/hr


Compensation at Guild is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to local and federal minimum wage requirements, education, level of experience, and applicant’s geographical location.
