THIS IS A PART-TIME, IN-OFFICE POSITION

(WORK HOURS 10:00AM - 2:00PM)

Responsibilities

A Recording Document Assistant (RDA) is responsible for coordinating the general operations, this includes logging in all incoming documents and initial file set-up. RDA’s will be responsible for processing document mail-backs and will assist in the posting of recording invoices and other post-close documentation. A RDA is also responsible for all ePN day to day functions including but not limited to:

  • Clear and consistent communication with clients re: their needs and status inquiries
  • Be the secondary point of contact between client communication and internal operations for quick and prompt processing
  • Assist the Document Recording Specialist(s)
  • Researching online County indexes
  • Tracking communication with client regarding issues that need resolution
  • Skilled abilities with accounting and reconciliation of fees paid for daily work

Essential Functions

  • Regular consistent attendance is required
  • Ability to work a specified schedule anytime from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday - THIS IS A PART-TIME POSITION
  • Must be personable, positive and a professional representative of the Company
  • Ability to accept supervision
  • Must have and maintain reliable transportation
  • Ability to foster, develop and maintain professional and collaborative working relationships. Must be able to get along with others, i.e., peers, supervisors, outside customers, and vendors
  • Be the point of contact for client inquires and questions that may arise
  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of management, employees and customers by email, phone and in person
  • Ability to work overtimes as requested and approved by supervisor
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Knowledge/Skills/Experience Required

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of real estate documents, title insurance, or escrow functions is preferred
  • Proficient computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritize and handle large volumes of work with tight deadlines

Physical/Mental Demands

  • Ability to perform under pressure and be flexible with disruptions throughout the workday
  • Must be able to work approved and requested overtime, by supervisor
  • Repetitive and continual typing motion is required
  • Weight lifted on average – lifting batches of documents – 0-10 lbs
