Real Estate Development Manager - Commercial Properties

Exciting opportunity to join a strong and growing real estate developer as a Director of Development. This role will report to the managing partners and oversee all development.

Responsibilities:

• Implement corporate goals and initiatives
• Participate in the design process with the regional development, construction, and design teams
• Possess a general understanding of the development and construction process to support Development Teams
• Participate in all presentations for final selections of interior finishes with Operator's Representative
• Conduct site visits to address issues and ensure conformance with design standards
• Develop timeline and cost schedules for all required due diligence items.
• Coordinate all entitlement efforts
• Assist legal counsel in reviewing and resolving title and survey issues
• Ascertain utility availabilities and connection fees, and costs of necessary improvements.
• Coordinate design professionals (civil and architectural) in the development of necessary materials for every stage of the process, from initial conceptual layouts to construction drawings and specifications
• Secure all necessary permits and/or approvals
• Maintain current project files
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree
• 5+ years of real estate development experience
• Excellent communication
• Ability to travel as needed
