Opportunity and Position Summary:

Join our dynamic team as a Real Estate Analyst! In this role, you will provide crucial financial insights that drive our decision-making processes. You will work closely with our asset management and investment team, managing a diverse portfolio of properties nationwide. This role combines qualitative and quantitative tasks, requiring strong mathematical, writing, and analytical skills. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

·        Prepare financial models and forecasts to support organizational decision-making

·        Analyze financial data and provide insights to management

·        Prepare financial reports for internal and external stakeholders

·        Assist in the creation of the annual business plans for assets across the portfolio

·        Occasional travel to properties and site tours

·        Oversee and track the implementation of capital initiatives

·        Improve operational processes and create streamlined workflows

·        Implement turnaround strategies for underperforming assets


Requirements:

·        All candidates must have a BA or BS degree from an accredited institution, with preferred degrees in real estate, finance, business, accounting, economics, or a related field. Candidates must possess robust academic qualifications

·        Strong interest in the real estate and 0-4 years of real estate finance experience

·        Strong Excel, financial modeling, and finance skills; this will be tested in the interview process

·        Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

·        Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·        Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions

·        Ability to work independently, effectively prioritize, and multi-task under pressure

·        Positive attitude and desire to take ownership of work product


Compensation and Benefits:

The base pay scale for this position is $65,000 - $105,000 annually. AVR’s base pay scale depends on geographic location, business line, years of experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. The base pay scale is accurate as of the date of this posting. AVR reserves the right to modify this information at any time, subject to applicable law.
