The role of Real Estate Lease Administrator is to manage the billing team and be responsible for managing and maintaining lease/license agreements for our traditional commercial real estate and data center properties. Duties include management experience, ensuring accuracy of billing, and experience in lease/license transactions, including new deals, renewals, expansions, and terminations.
The Real Estate Lease Administrator reports to the Vice President, Asset Management.
Essential Job Functions
Manage the billing team to ensure tenants and customers are being billed accurately via MRI accounting system
Lead regular audits of tenant and customer billings
Manage lease/license documents to ensure documents are being stored in central repository and MRI accounting system is updated accordingly by billing team
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all real estate transactions
Process tenant and management requests and provide timely responses to lease and license-related inquiries
Prepare regular lease summaries and status reports for senior management.
Conduct financial analysis and budgeting related to leases and property management (revenue-specific)
Manage relationships with tenants, property managers, and external partners to ensure a high level of service and compliance.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in lease administration or property management, preferably in the data center or commercial real estate sectors.
Skills and Abilities
Understanding of lease/license contracts and financial terms.
Excellent organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and real estate management software.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
