Job Title: Radiology Technologist - Special Procedures

Location: Regional Medical Center, Houston, TX

Shifts: 4/10hr shifts per week, Monday to Friday, plus call

Call Requirements: Minimum of 15 call shifts in a 6-week schedule, including weekday nights and weekday AM/PM shifts

Job Description: Trusted Staffe is currently seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist - Special Procedures for our partner, a leading regional medical center in Houston, TX. This position offers a dynamic opportunity to work in a specialized environment with a focus on performing special procedures within radiology.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of complex specialized radiologic procedures, including interventional radiography, cardiac catheterization, angiography, and other procedures as required.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures, maintaining sterile fields and adhering to infection control protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and procedural outcomes.
• Operate and maintain specialized imaging equipment, ensuring quality control measures are met.
• Provide patient education regarding procedures and ensure informed consent is obtained when necessary.
• Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled, responding promptly to emergency procedures as required.
  
  

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), required.
• Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT), required.
• Registered Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R), required.
• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification, preferred.
