Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing fluoroscopy (C-arm) procedures in the operating room and participating in preoperative patient assessments. Additionally, you will ensure proper calibration and maintenance of equipment and maintain a log of all C-arm procedures.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Perform fluoroscopy procedures in the operating room setting.
Participate in preoperative patient assessments, including C-arm procedures.
Maintain and document proper calibration of equipment.
Keep a log of all C-arm procedures performed.
Support the philosophy, goals, and objectives of the Center.
Adhere to approved policies and procedures.
Participate as a team member in the perioperative process.
Consider patient rights in the performance of job duties.
Contribute to the Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) Program.
Support risk management and patient/staff safety programs.
Actively contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, patients, visitors, physicians, and coworkers.
Maintain and promote professional competence through continuing education.
Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
Education, Experience, And Training
Associate Degree in Applied Science (A.S) or equivalent.
Six months to one year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Two (2) years of radiology technician experience preferred.
A.A.R.T certification.
BLS certification.
Computer Skills
Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment.
Physical Demands
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Regularly required to walk, sit, stand, use hands, reach, talk, hear, climb, stoop, kneel, or crawl.
