This classification requires to evaluate, interpret and document findings of radiographic images, rocket motor, small ordnance, and other miscellaneous hardware for compliance to applicable specifications and drawings. Perform required preventative maintenance (PM) of
radiographic support equipment.
Knowledge of computer skills to perform work.
Level I Radiographers will work with technical assistance and guidance. Work with progressively less guidance and instruction as knowledge, skill, and experience in classification increases.
A Level II Radiographer will provide guidance and assistance to less experienced Radiographers in the performance of duties described.
Perform inspections on rocket motors, small ordnance items and miscellaneous hardware.
Set up, maintain, and operate radiographic equipment.
Read and interpret indications and evaluate these indications with reference to standards, specifications or other related documents.
Provide technical direction and on-the-job training for Level I Radiographers.
Provide reports and analysis of radiographic examinations, as required.
May be required to become certified in and perform other inspection functions.
Annotate processing documentation as necessary.
