Valgroup is hiring an R & D Product Engineer (Entry-Level) to support our plastics manufacturing facility in Findlay, Ohio.

Location: On-Site Findlay, Ohio
Department: R & D
Reports To: Production Manager
Shift/Schedule: Daytime M-F
JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:
Reverse engineering for new product lines
Tracking metrics and reporting
Identify process improvements for existing products
Monitoring production trials
Lab testing analysis
Develop programs and methods for product engineering
Product formulation cost, Bill of Materials, and product (finished goods) part number creations in the ERP database
Customer communication
Work in Cross-functional teams
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
2- yr degree required in a related Engineering field, or preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Manufacturing, Material Science, Polymer)
Experience in manufacturing environment preferred
Computer knowledge and ability to use Microsoft programs and SAP/ERP
Read, analyze, and interpret data and information
Strong communication and analytical skills as well as problem-solving and critical thinking
