Quantitative Software Engineer

An investment management firm, which is a leading provider of quantitative equity strategies is seeking a Quantitative Software Engineer, with expertise in C++ development.

The engineering team drives innovation by designing, optimizing, and testing proprietary quantitative investment systems.

As part of the team, you will:

• Build next-gen global portfolio management systems.
• Work with large datasets.
• Solve challenging business problems.

Location: Morristown, NJ - onsite

Salary: Up to $175k

Responsibilities:

• Enhance quantitative models and portfolio construction.
• Architect and manage a global financial data repository.
• Develop high-performance simulation engines.
• Create investment workflow management systems.
• Extend analytics and reporting platforms.

Requirements:

• MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Statistics.
• Recent and relevant hands-on C/C++ programming experience.
• Strong Python or Julia programming skills (NumPy/Pandas experience a plus).
• Familiarity with databases (SQL server, Oracle, etc.).
• Excellent coding, debugging, and analytical abilities.
• Passion for solving complex challenges
