We are seeking a Quality Technician to provide technical support to engineers and production in areas including, but not limited to operations, safety, testing, process improvement, manufacturing, and product development.
Schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions to perform defined plans will be utilized. Other functions include gathering, maintaining, formatting, compliance and analyzing technical data using established procedures and detailed calculations.
This position will be based in our manufacturing location in Menomonee Falls, WI.
Responsibilities
technical support to the Quality Functions
developing/ Implementing Quality System
in the development of Layouts on the floor plan to ensure proper material flow.
non-destructive examination and quality control inspections on products, materials, and components at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance within established quality and reliability standards.
inspection and/or test results.
current SOPs and develop SOP and forms as needed.
and analyzes statistical data from processes to confirm compliance with established standards or identify deviations from standards.
improved methods, procedures, and standards.
mark-ups, and/or red lines drawings, bill of materials, standard operating procedures, and work instructions upon issue identification.
in design validation and leads production validation builds for new product introduction.
production personnel on new or revised work processes.
to validate routings loaded for production.
customer warranty and field issues and performs root cause analysis. May include travel to customer locations to assess and/or repair product.
other assigned duties.
Qualifications
years related manufacturing experience, quality and/or equivalent education.
a variety of atypical assignments.
for Continuous Improvement initiatives and projects
to interpret Schematics Diagrams & Blueprints
within defined processes and procedures and may help determine appropriate approach for new assignments.
degree of supervision, with oversight focused on complex assignments.
Communication and teamwork skills
full proficiency in a range of technical processes or procedures through job-related training.
in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Work Environment
