Quality Systems Intern


The Quality Systems Intern will assist the Quality Assurance and Document Control team in optimizing QMS processes and increasing efficiency in our Quality Management System. The intern will be responsible for supporting projects related to process improvements, document control, eQMS implementation, and training.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Support the administration of the document control system (Updating trackers, fulfilling document requests, maintaining Red Book accuracy and usability).
  • Assist in the document clean up, organization, and data migration for eQMS implementation.
  • Assist in the maintenance and coordination of employee training records and training tracking system.
  • Assist in change management activities.
  • Scan and file Quality System related documentation and records and assist in the retrieval and distribution of documents to authorized personnel as needed.
  • Assist in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to quality metrics, process performance, and compliance.
  • Assist in the design, implementation, and improvement of QMS processes.
  • Assist in the creation of work instructions, standard operating procedures, and training materials for quality processes.
  • Follow established MST Quality System procedures and policies.


Qualifications:


  • Currently pursuing a degree in Life Sciences, Mechanical, Industrial, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Detailed oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to collect and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and document management software.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.


This is a paid internship position with the potential to convert to a full-time position depending on business needs and the intern's performance. The Quality Systems Intern will report to the Sr. Quality Systems Manager.


Pay range for this position is $20-24/hour. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors such as skills, qualifications and experience. Schedule: M-F, 40 hours per week.
