Direct administration of Quality Inspectors for all three shifts. Managing Quality Supplies, measureing product, auditing and supervising Quality Inspectors and Quality Technicians.
Responsibilities
Direct administration of Quality Inspectors for all three shifts.
Manage the Quality Supplies Inventory.
Approve and perform when necessary, the First piece and hourly inspections.
Report any damage or failure of the checking fixtures.
Responsible for identifying reject and rework glass.
Perform a 4M Line audit per week.
Review and stock the Urethane Test Samples.
Perform destructive glass test as required.
Review the quality and production reports, and feedback for correct filling.
File and control QMS reports.
Back Up for Dock auditor.
Train and develop new inspectors.
Assure Material GP12 inspection and FG release for shipments.
Responsible for maintaining the Hold system. This includes:
Quarantining suspect material and completing appropriate documentation
Notifying appropriate individuals
Loading and releasing material on SAP
Working with staff, supervisors, engineers, and managers to disposition suspect materials.
Ensuring disposition is executed and documentation is updated and maintained.
Keep the Inspectors and GP12 areas according to the 5’s standard.
Any other duties assigned by the Quality Manager as required.
