Quality Performance and Clinical Data Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to manage and analyze healthcare data to support performance scorecards, clinical analysis, and regulatory reporting. Your expertise in SQL, Epic EMR, and data analysis will be essential in automating data processes, ensuring data integrity, and transforming complex data into actionable insights. You will provide technical direction, lead conversations, and deliver impactful data stories that inform business decisions and improve patient care.

Technical Skills

  • SQL: Essential for data analysis and database management. For querying and managing large datasets.
  • Epic EMR, Epic Slicer Dicer, Clarity, Caboodle: Preferred for deeper insights into Epic data. To extract and analyze clinical data.
  • Healthcare Experience: Understanding healthcare data, quality metrics, and regulatory requirements.
  • Corporater/Scorecard Software: Experience with scorecard software to design, implement, and manage scorecards.
  • UIPath Robotic Processing Agent: To automate data feeds, ensuring timely and accurate updates.
  • Data Analysis Tools (e.g., SAS, Business Objects, Tableau): For advanced data analysis and visualization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performance Scorecards: > Automating and Validating Data Feeds: Creating systems to automatically gather, process, and update data. It ensures the data fed into performance scorecards is accurate and up-to-date. > Scorecard Results: Generating, maintaining, and verifying the results presented in performance scorecards, which track various performance metrics within the organization. > Collaborate with stakeholders to understand the key performance metrics that need to be tracked. > Use SQL to pull data from various sources and integrate it into the scorecard system. > Implement automation using tools like UIPath to ensure data feeds are automatically updated.
  • Clinical Analysis: > Metrics for Government Quality Programs: Analyzing data to meet the requirements of government quality programs, such as compliance metrics, performance standards, and regulatory reporting. > Patient Outcomes: Evaluating and interpreting data related to patient health outcomes to improve care quality. > Utilizing SQL for querying and managing large datasets. > Hands-on experience with Epic EMR and Related Tools: To extract and analyze clinical data. > Hands-on experience with Data Analysis Tools (e.g., SAS, Business Objects, Tableau): Transform data into audience-appropriate stories, prepare reports, and provide recommendations to support business initiatives. > Develop actionable recommendations to improve clinical outcomes and patient experience based on the analysis.

Education Requirements

Bachelor or Master - Data and Analytics affiliate field such as Business Statistics, Data Analysis, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a similar field
