Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Manager to oversee our quality control operations and ensure that our products meet the highest standards of precision and excellence. The Quality Manager will play a crucial role in the continuous improvement of our manufacturing processes, as well as maintaining and improving our quality management system.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement quality standards and procedures for all aspects of manufacturing, including incoming materials, in-process inspections, and final product validation.
Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve any quality issues, and implement corrective and preventative actions.
Monitor and maintain compliance with all relevant industry regulations, such as ISO 9001 and AS9100.
Conduct regular internal audits to ensure adherence to quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
Lead root cause and corrective action teams to address quality defects and customer complaints.
Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers, conducting supplier audits and ensuring their compliance with our quality standards.
Maintains all equipment calibration and verification processes.
Develop and maintain quality metrics to monitor quality trends and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
Lead and mentor a team of quality assurance technicians.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Quality Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in a quality management role within a manufacturing environment.
Extensive knowledge of quality management systems and industry standards, such as ISO 9001 and AS9100.
Strong problem-solving abilities, with experience in root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventative actions.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Proficient in using quality tools such as SPC, Six Sigma, and statistical analysis.
Detail-oriented with a passion for delivering high-quality products to customers.
Experience working with precision machining processes, such as turning, milling, and grinding, is preferred but not required.
Salary: $32,000 to $48,000 yearly
