Plans, coordinates, implements, and directs Quality Assurance programs designed to ensure the production process from purchased raw material to final product is consistent with established standards; develops, implements, maintains, and updates Quality Assurance records.
Qualifications
Job Related Functions:
Reading details and schematics, organizational, supervisory, computer, mathematical, and statistical skills
Observes OSHA, EPA, and Company rules and regulations concerning personal safety
Enforces company policies
Regularly exposed to temperature extremes
Maintains and cleans work area and reports maintenance problems
Educational Requirements:
College degree and 3-5 years’ experience preferred in forging and casting products for automotive industry
Knowledge of statistical analysis, precision measurement, process validation, supplier quality, product testing, training and development, and process capability studies
