Quality Manager Details
Direct Hire position
$ 100,000.00 / annually

Contributes to the company’s success by having a thorough understanding of the day-to-day responsibilities and management of the Quality Department.
Responsible for all matters related to ISO-9001, PED 97/23/EC, NCA 3800, 10CFR50 and AS9100 accreditation as Management Representative, its procedures, work instructions, Internal Audits, Corrective Actions, Management Reviews, etc.
Responsible for driving/facilitating the reduction in Cost of Poor Quality (scrap, rework, field failures).
Core driver of the 8-Discipline step problem-solving methodology for process and system problems.
Principle facilitator of Advance Product Quality Planning process (Process flow diagrams, FMEA, Control Plans, Gage R & R, CPK).
Works with sales and purchasing departments to develop meaningful performance measurements for our suppliers and vendors.
Quality Manager Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate discipline preferred with five (5) or more years’ experience in a related/similar discipline.
Certified Quality Manager, Certified Quality Engineer and Quality Auditor preferred.
7 or more years’ experience in manufacturing QA required.
Experience in the field of metal manufacturing and materials required.
Knowledge of ASM, ASME and ASTM specifications.
