About Wulco Inc.: Wulco Inc. was established in 1990 through the union of two long-standing Greater Cincinnati companies, Jet Machine & Manufacturing and Rocket Supply. The Quality Inspector works within the Inspection Department to ensure machined and welded parts meet customer specifications. Experience with Faro Arm is preferred.
Responsibilities And Duties
Read and understand customer and internal drawings to determine material and production requirements
Comply with Jet Machine policies and procedures
Ensure that products meet specified requirements, including raw materials, work in process, and finished products
Use inspection equipment (e.g., calipers and micrometers) to measure manufactured parts
Document inspection results using Jet and/or customer inspection report forms
Create Jet inspection reports and balloon drawings
Maintain good housekeeping practices, including cleaning the work area and inspection equipment
Perform other tasks as assigned
Job Skills & Requirements
High school education or equivalent
Basic math skills and basic blueprint reading
Knowledge of inspection equipment, including standard inspection hand tools, Faro Arm, and CMM
Attention to detailed inspection requirements
Ability to create accurate paperwork, legibly and timely
Use of SDS sheets and basic machine shop safety
Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances (GD&T) preferred
General personal computer usage, including Microsoft Office
Must be able to stand for at least 8 hours per day and lift up to 50 pounds
Reports To: Quality Manager
