The Quality Inspector is responsible for reviewing products and materials during and after manufacturing to make sure they meet company requirements. Duties include measuring objects compared to their intended physical specifications, running quality tests and identifying defects. Requires understanding of prints, GD&T principles, and common measurement methods, including non-contact inspection to discern part/product quality.
Schedule will be - Monday to Thursday
7am to 5:30pm
Responsibilities

Responsibilities
- Check parts for visual defects and anomalies at any point in the manufacturing value stream, including vendor-supplied operations or products, and feedback to the manufacturing team quantitative and qualitative data on nonconformance.
- Make informed decisions on handling and disposition for parts with visual anomalies to support customer requirements.
- Sort conforming and nonconforming parts to support on-time delivery to customers.
- Perform inspections on purchased products to assess vendor quality and report qualitative and quantitative data.
- Perform inspections at random on the production floor to assess manufactured part quality and provide potential root causes for nonconformance
- Train new Inspectors in proper Quality Assurance and measurement processes
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic print reading skills.
- 1-3 years as an inspector or quality assurance employee in a manufacturing environment.
