Currently we are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector for our 2nd shift with strong GD&T and blueprint reading skills. This position will be responsible for conducting FP, in-process, receiving, and final/FAI mechanical/CMM AQL inspections on precision machined components, utilizing industry standard inspection equipment and DISCUS AS9102 and uniPoint QM software.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs quality technical inspections of parts including in process, receiving, and final inspection including first article
• Verification of process related records
• Enter and record data using applicable quality management system forms and software
• Document and effectively communicate nonconformities for disposition
• Interpret drawings and GD&T for proper, efficient application
  
  

Skills and Qualifications:

• 3-5 years minimum relevant experience
• Strong mechanical inspection abilities
• Knowledge and understanding of part constraint for manual layout and or automated measurement, surface plate, CMM
• Knowledge and usage of applicable measurement equipment, including but not limited to micrometers, height gauges, surface plate / indicators, gauge blocks / pins, thread plug / ring gauges, optical comparators, profilometers
• Ability to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision
